Loved by some, hated by others, the Minilogue is not a typical analog synthesizer. At first blush it can sound thin or distant, even lacking a sweet spot--not the warmth most people are looking for in analog gear. But once you accept these limitations you can explore its strengths: this silver creature has a fuzzy, elusive, alien texture not quite like anything else I've used. This pack plays to these strengths with abstract, evocative sounds created using subtle LFO work, oscillator shape controls, noise, filter self-oscillation and an unconventional approach to the built-in analog delay.

TONES: 302 samples of single notes in different octaves, covering roughly 60 different presets. These are amazing for bass sounds and great for melodies, even chords if you're using a polyphonic sampler.
CHORDS: 95 chord samples including many dub techno-style hits, some longer pad sounds and other chord abstractions.
FX: 67 samples including filter sweeps/LFO action, strange modulation sounds and delay twists.

All instrument sounds in my demo tracks come from these samples, sequenced and played back from the MPC1000, with delay & reverb from the MPC and/or FX units in my studio. Drums in the demo tracks are from samples I had on my MPC and the Acidlab Miami--there are no drum sounds in this pack. The Chord & FX Selection is a selection of the chord & fx sounds in the pack playing at the same time, sequenced in Ableton Live. The Tone selection includes just a few tones lined up in Ableton's arrange view.
