We don't track to make hits--we track to let go. It might not look like much but this is one of many albums that I've wanted to put out for a long time. I've been sitting on stuff cause there's a lot of pressure to promotionally "make the most of" the music when one releases it. Fact is I hate playing marketing games and making music is more like journaling than making art for me, there isn't really a point or a statement, it's just something I do that helps. The more this is my job the more I feel like I have to engage with the Business in certain ways, but in this way I've decided at least for now I'm not going to. The backlog is too big to waste time on that. So here's the album and there's a lot more where that came from. Thank you for listening!
